  • Public Conversation: New Speaker Announcement! We are thrilled to announce award-winning journalist and 2x Award of Awesomeness nominee Ebony Chappel has joined the Public Conversation panel along with Dacher Keltner and R. Eric Thomas. Register today!

  • Festival Accessibility. We strive to make festival events as accessible as possible. All indoor events are hosted in ADA compliant facilities and several events will have ASL interpretation. The artwork commissioned for the Public Conversation will be audio described using a QR Code. Large font copies of the festival event guide will be available upon request at all events. If you are in need a specific accommodation, please contact event organizers or Spirit & Place at festival@iu.edu.

    F.O.R.C.E. Video Series (Foundations of Responsible Civic Engagement)

    The Women4Change Indiana (W4CI) Civic Education Committee has created a series of educational sessions and several resources designed to address this crisis. “Civics, Civility, and Consensus” are hosted conversations that increase civil dialogue through a constructive process that is unifying rather than divisive. In addition to these facilitated groups and written materials the Committee supported the development of “Foundations of Responsible Civic Engagement” (FORCE) videos based on the Constitution and Sheila Suess Kennedy’s book “Talking Politics: What You Need to Know before Opening Your Mouth.”
