Support Our Work

100% of our annual budget comes from YOU!

We are shaped by the places we come from and shape those places in turn. And your contribution is the fuel that makes it all happen; 100% of our annual budget is raised through community contributions. Because of our collaborators, donors, volunteers, and friends, we can continue to create space for difficult dialogues, present unique experiences, and build civic capacity.

Thanks to the generous support of the Lilly Endowment, every gift will be matched up to $400,000.

There are many ways to show your support!

100% of our annual budget is raised through community contributions and without the support of our community, we would not be able to bring Central Indiana people-centered year-round programming and a one-of-a-kind festival. Sparking community transformation is no small feat. Help support our work by making a gift today and have your donation doubled. Thanks to the generous support of the Lilly Endowment, every gift will be matched up to $400,000.

As a small, yet mighty team, we have several in-kind needs to continue our work.

  • Office supplies – large easels, sharpies, dorm-size refrigerator
  • Coffee/Tea Shop gift cards for all those meeting that help us strengthen relationships – Calvin Fletcher’s, Quills, Coat Check, Teas Me, Cleo’s Bodega, and others

As our programming and dialogues have evolved, so too must our practices. Community-Centric Fundraising (CCF) is a new and emerging movement within the nonprofit sector that is grounded in equity and social justice, while centering around community. While this movement is emergent, many of the values and principles of CCF are in alignment with values Spirit & Place has held for the past two decades.
