  • Festival Events! 2024 Spirit & Place Festival events have been announced! Check out our November event calendar to learn more. (Event registration will begin in October.)

  • Spirit & Place Presents and Big Tent Talks. Two new series launch this October! Big Tent Talks presents notable and inspirational speakers focused on faith and Spirit & Place Presents is an annual city arts series that invites nationally recognized artists and other creatives to share their work and spiritual inspirations. Join Nadia Bolz-Weber on Oct. 11 and Alice Randall with Leyla McCalla on Oct. 18.

  • Festival Volunteers Needed. We have close to 50 volunteer shifts to fill and would love for you to help us. Click here.

F.O.R.C.E. Video Series (Foundations of Responsible Civic Engagement)

The Women4Change Indiana (W4CI) Civic Education Committee has created a series of educational sessions and several resources designed to address this crisis. “Civics, Civility, and Consensus” are hosted conversations that increase civil dialogue through a constructive process that is unifying rather than divisive. In addition to these facilitated groups and written materials the Committee supported the development of “Foundations of Responsible Civic Engagement” (FORCE) videos based on the Constitution and Sheila Suess Kennedy’s book “Talking Politics: What You Need to Know before Opening Your Mouth.”
