Thank you SO MUCH for your interest in volunteering for the Spirit & Place Festival.

The volunteer sign-up portal is live and you can find it by clicking here. This year’s festival will have close to 90 volunteer shifts at more than 30 events happening in Marion, Johnson, Hamilton, Boone, and Putnam Counties! From outdoor nature walks to cozy indoor lectures, there will be plenty to choose from and we deeply value your commitment and support.

What does serving as a festival volunteer involve?

• Taking an online volunteer orientation tutorial
• Signing up for a volunteer shift(s)
• Arriving 30 minutes prior to the event start time
• Greeting guests on behalf of Spirit & Place
• Inviting guests to sign up for the Spirit & Place enewsletter
• Distributing Event Guides and evaluations
• Remaining until the end of the event to collect evaluations (plan to stay 15 – 20 minutes after the scheduled event end time)
