Housing is a basic human need. This event invites communities in Indy to share their experiences and envision paths for affordable housing stability, which is central to human and community nourishment.
Please join us to share and listen to stories and experiences around rental housing and building communities in Indianapolis. Stories have power as they bring people together to build community through shared experiences. Using multiple art forms and other means of expression, this event highlights the centrality of stories for creating spaces of community nourishment and empowerment. Attendees to this event will be encouraged to share their stories verbally, through art and audio, before hearing from panelists who will share their stories, experiences, and struggles related to rental housing in Indianapolis. Attendees will also be able to consult with housing attorneys and the City of Indianapolis Tenant Navigators.
