Join a team of educators and families to consider what equity and inclusion means for schools and communities as they emerge from the COVID-19 global pandemic.
Using the Mmogo method – an indigenous gathering method from South Africa that uses visuals and artifacts to anchor dialogue – attendees are invited to consider the experiences and stories of educators and parents/guardians affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. This conversation aims to help the community recognize the ways in which varying school and home situations have shaped the pandemic experience and how we all might do a better job at addressing inequities in the educational system.
A partnership between Digital Education Hub at the IU School of Education at IUPUI, Digital Education Hub Community Caucus, and Digital Education Hub Teacher Network.
