Enjoy cider, snacks, and stories while listening, reflecting, and vibing about how we shape food and how it shapes us.
How have your tastes been shaped by your community and/or family of origin? How do you use food to connect with new acquaintances and old friends? How might food open new spaces for community, connection, and cooperation?
Both food and stories shape who we are and how we identify. This event invites attendees to reflect on how food has shaped who they are by listening to featured food stories and then perhaps telling their own stories at an open mic!
Limited free food, alcoholic beverages, and nonalcoholic beverages available, with options for additional purchase. Guests under the age of 21 may attend. Guests may mask-up as preferred.
