Join us as we nurture a spirit of shared civic purpose with poetry, music, and small dialogue groups.

Spirit & Place invites you to reflect on our democracy and grapple with what it means to live by America’s civic values during its “Civic Circle” gatherings.

Using the civic reflection dialogue method, these participatory gatherings – you’ll be doing most of the talking! – will focus on the words, deeds, and imagery of our nation’s past. By unpacking our civic values together, we can better support each other in living by those values.

Don’t be surprised by a little poetry and/or music thrown into the mix when we can!
