DESCRIPTION:Seriously. What does it? What nudges some events into the category of “awesome” so that they are nominated for the $1\,000 Award of Awesomeness? What is it about some events that leave attendees saying\, as this community member did in 2021: “The event was one of the most thought-provoking and thoughtful conversations I’ve participated in recently. That’s what I’ve come to expect from Spirit & Place and I’m so grateful for it.” \nGather with Spirit & Place Program Director Erin Kelley and past festival Selection Committee members\, Award of Awesomeness judges\, event creators\, and festival presenters Darren Chittick\, Kathi Ridley-Merriweather\, Aaron Welcher\, and Sara Hindi to discuss what it takes to design a truly memorable and “oomph-laden” festival event. \nREGISTER HERE \nThis gathering is designed for those wishing to learn more about Spirit & Place so that they might submit a competitive event application.
