Pam Blevins Hinkle

Pam Blevins Hinkle is an improvisational musician, arts administrator, facilitator, and choral conductor. Presently, she is in her 11th season as Artistic Director of the Indianapolis Women’s Chorus and her second year as director of the Spirit & Place Festival. Pam has also served two congregations as music director and was choral director at Franklin College (IN).  She received a 2003 Creative Renewal Arts Fellowship from the Arts Council of Indianapolis through which she has explored chant and ritual song from diverse traditions as well as improvisation and drumming. She is enrolled in the Musicianship and Leadership Certification of Program of Music for People, which teaches free improvisation to people of all skill levels. Pam also facilitates sessions in chant, creativity, and improvisation for a variety of church, school and community groups.
