Presented by Eiteljorg Museum of American Indian and Western Art, Indiana Historical Society, Native American and Indigenous Studies at IUPUI, and Purdue University Native American Education and Cultural Center. 

This event welcomes Native American artists, culture bearers, and experts from around the region to discuss how origin stories and traditions are intertwined with art. Speakers include artist and Oneida culture bearer, Karen Ann Hoffman; Eiteljorg curator and Miami culture bearer and artist, Scott Shoemaker, Ph.D.; and Shawnee culture bearer, Jeremy D. Turner. Moderated by Dorene Red Cloud, member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe and curator of Native American art at the Eiteljorg.
