Event Description:

Presented by Keep Indianapolis Beautiful and Center for Interfaith Cooperation.

All faith traditions speak to human origins and the importance of being good stewards of creation. Listen in as multiple faith leaders share perspectives from their spiritual traditions and invite participants to re-encounter nature through the lens of faith.

In October, Keep Indianapolis Beautiful hosted an interfaith tree planting ceremony at Garfield Park with the goal of creating more opportunities for dialogue and action between their organization and Indy’s faith communities. This event invites some of the faith leaders who participated in the ceremony to reflect on what their faith traditions tell us about spirituality and the natural world.
