Imagination can burn bright at any age. See the one-hour PBS documentary “Do Not Go Gently,” which chronicles the creative lives of four artists in their 80s and beyond, including ballet dancer Frederic Franklin and Gee’s Bend quilter Arlonzia Pettway. Following the film, guests will enjoy brief dance and musical performances, a reading, and visual artwork by local older artists. Hear what inspires their creativity, and discuss the film during a reception and facilitated dialogue. Books and articles on creativity and aging will be available. Free. See a related program on November 6 (Art is Long, Life is Short). Presented by WFYI, ElderSource, and Ann Katz Festival of Books at the Arthur M. Glick JCC. Questions? Call 317-636-2020 or e-mail email@example.com.
