Human beings of all faith traditions, and no faith tradition, have imagined a life after death. Join Quaker pastors and writers Phil Gulley and Jim Mulholland as they consider how views of the afterlife impact religious discourse and human behavior. The evening begins with traditional hymns of an imagined heaven, performed by the Indianapolis Men’s Chorus and the Indianapolis Women’s Chorus. The pastors’ dialogue on this topic will be followed by Q&A and audience conversation. The two choruses close with John Lennon’s “Imagine.” Admission is $10. Participants are also invited to “bring heaven to earth” by donating canned goods. All event proceeds benefit Gleaner’s Food Bank of Indiana, Inc. Presented by St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, JourneysFire International, and IndyChoruses. Questions? Call 317-846-3404 or e-mail email@example.com.
