What will happen when professional engineers are asked to define “power” and fiber artists then interpret those definitions? Find out during this one-of-a kind exhibit!

Engineers harness multiple forms of power, from hydroelectric plants to large wind turbines, in their designs. Artists use the power of creativity to help us look at the world in new and unique ways. This one-of-a-kind exhibit created just for the Spirit & Place Festival asked engineers to define what power means to them, from the literal to the spiritual. The results are showcased in the works of fiber artists using techniques ranging from photo imaging and image transfers to dyeing and stitching.

Walk-ins welcome, but RSVPs encouraged by Nov. 3.

Presented by INFiber, Indiana Society of Professional Engineers, and The Athenaeum Foundation.
