Event Description:
Enjoy a full-length performance by this internationally-acclaimed ballet company of African American and other racially diverse artists. Local experts will join with ensemble representatives for a free discussion prior to the performance on the perceptions about the ballet dancer’s body and physical demands (6:30-7:15 PM, 4th Floor Ballroom).
Panelists will include a Dance Theatre of Harlem Ensemble representative, a retired ballerina, a local dance teacher, a nutritionist, and a university dance professor.
