Experience two yogic traditions that focus on energy: how to notice, balance, move and transmute it. Experienced teachers come together for discussion, philosophy and practice, accompanied by a Gong-Master and a beautiful art exhibit of spiritual paintings known as “mandalas.”
Both yogic traditions invoke a “Witness Consciousness,” which allows us to see ourselves, our relationships, and our lives, more clearly. Sample techniques used to begin to feel, move and unblock “stuck” and unbalanced energy in the body. Engage in several Kundalini Yoga meditations aimed at overcoming limiting emotional conditions, and a short meditation which has been used worldwide to control bad habits and addictions. Then try the Ipsalu Tantra Kriya Yoga Formula, which enlivens the body, quiets the mind, awakens innocent sexual energy, and unites sexual, heart and consciousness energy. Participate in individual meditation while listening to the healing vibrations of the ancient Gong, while practicing Tratakum, an eye-gazing meditation, using beautiful mandalas by Indianapolis painter and yoga teacher, Karla Becker. Bring a cushion or yoga mat. Donations will be accepted for the Julian Center, which serves victims of domestic violence.
